Help! tape deck on HVX 200 wont open

Hey guys,

Im trying to open the tape deck on my hvx. When i push the open/eject button the cover comes of but the tape deck does not open allowing me to insert a tape does anyone know why this might be happening?

When you use the Eject button the door will open a little. You then have to "gently" pull the door another inch or so and the tape transport will come out.
I think it's a safety thing so accidently bumping the Eject button won't expose the tape.
At least we are calling that a "Feature". :beer:

Almost forgot, I give you credit for not forcing something you were not sure about.
Too many people would have just yanked on it.
