Help, Stuck in German(from japanese model)

Hi,
I just hacked my friends new GH1 Japanese model camera, just to change the language. Accidentally set it to german, the hack installed fine. Now Im trying to change it back to english or japanese and I keep getting an error about the firmware(in german). I've tried upping the version number and checking version compare.

What should I do??

If you loaded it with the latest PTool (v3.40d), then you can go into the language change menu, and change it to English.

If you used a much earlier version, then you must choose the language as a one off, and you can't change it again unless you update the firmware using the latest v3.40d PTool.
 
Thanks for the advice!! It worked!! I just needed to use the new version of ptool, up the version by one and check version compare.

I have the full language menu now, with more languages than I could possibly need:)
