OK, the hole with the threading for screwing in tripod plate, monopod, whatever is broken. The round cylinder threading is cracked in half. One piece remains against the casing and the other half is shaking around in the hole.
I need help to repair this. Does anyone know if there is a part I can buy at a hardware shop that I can try to DIY this with? I have a feeling that this is such an obscure repair that a repair shop would take forever and/or charge arm + leg for it.
