HELP..problem with footage!

Hey, we got a problem here. We always shoot in 24p advanced in squeeze mode and we filmed many things before and captured to final cut pro perfectly andnever had a problem. Today we tried capturing some footage and there seems to be some type of interlacing problem even though we shot 24pa and captured in the advance pulldown mode in FCP....I havent changed the final cut settings at all since last time it worked fine. Can someone plz try and help me figure out whats wrong? it plays fine on the camera with no interlacing....heres a screengrab

Some things to try:

1. Import tape using different deck/camera. Problem still exists? Your firewire port could be fried.
2. How many hours on heads? Ever been cleaned?
3. To isolate the problem, play some footage known to be fine in one camera and capture it via firewire to the dvx. This will bypass the CCD capture, going straight to the tape heads. Doesn't narrow the possibilities down much, but at least by some.
 
I tried capturing footage that was fine before and the problem is still there. This camera is brand new and we used it only like 3 times so far..not even 10 hours on head and this just came outa nowhere. Plz tell me I dont have to get it repaired...anyone else have advice?
 
noone else knows whats wrong? :( helpp..im freaking out here..its brand new and was working perfectly a day ago!! jesus..i hate my luck
 
were you removing advanced pulldown during the capture? try removing pulldown. select the clip in the browser window and select "remove advanced pulldown" in the tools menu.

i really doubt it's the camera or firewire.
