It happened while testing two external mics on Input 1 -- once with a wireless lavalier and again with a shotgun. Sync was off by several frames. I was not able to duplicate on a follow-up test. Only thing I can think of -- in first test, I messed up and had phantom power on for the wireless lavalier and it didn't need it (battery powered). But if that's the source of the problem, funny that it was still out of sync when I switched mics and used the shotgun (which DOES require phantom pwr).
On the follow-up test, I turned camera off/on. Also tried both Film Cam/Video Cam modes (I had used only Film Cam in first test). Results were perfect. I'm just worried that if I don't determine cause of the problem from test #1, it could happen again. Or worse, my camera has a bug.
Also to ensure it was not an FCP or hard drive error I checked the playback from test #1 on the camera's LCD monitor -- and it was out of sync. So problem was with camera.
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.
