This is very strange... when I connect the HVX200 (via USB 2.0) to my Windows Laptop and switch to PC mode on the camera, the clips both show up AND play fine in the P2 viewer SO LONG as the camera is connected and I am using it as the source ( F: ) drive.
However, after I ingest the footage onto my hard drive (the contents, last clip, everything etc.) and point to it (as a virtual card) on my hard drive (once the camera is disconnected) the clips ALL SHOW UP in the P2 viewer (meaning it was offloaded and pointed to correctly) but they won't PLAY. The menu below the black box (where the first frame usually shows up) is SHADED IN GREY just like it is when no clip is selected. It simply doesn't give me "play, pause, fast forward, etc.) as a "clickable option".
The footage is there, in the right folder with all the right files, the thumbnail shows up, EVEN the information below where the clip usually plays shows up but it simply won't GIVE ME the option to play it?
Does anyone know why this is happening? Even Panny Tech Support is working on it and doesn't know off hand? I even tried recording in different frame rates, different P2 card, etc. Still nothing -- can anyone please help out?
