HELP PLEASE!: mastering to24p DVCAM?...

Hey all,
I'm not a new member, but I haven't posted in a looong while and I can't for the life of me remember my username or password.
Anyways, I'm making a film for class (USC) and we are required to hand in our work on Sony DVCAM mini tapes, which is annoying as I am going to shoot on my DVX100A. I want to shoot 24pA if possible (if not 24p at least), and I'm going to edit on Premiere Pro CS4, in 24fps if i am able to. Then I plan to master out through the Sony PD170 they give in order to get the movie onto the DVCAM tape. The movies will be projected in a class room using what I believe is a very high end progressive projector. (its a brand new building.)
Basically, my question is...I want to shoot 24fps, but how will I maintain this if the final output is a DVCAM tape? I know I can shoot 24p and edit in 30p, but I'd rather shoot in 24pa so I can also make a proper DVD of my work in 24fps.
Is there a way to shoot 24pa, edit 24fps in PPro CS4, then master to DVCAM tape and still have it play properly, as well as maintain my ability to create proper 24fps DVDs? Do I have to use some sort of pull up/down methods for import or when I master the tape? Please advise - this project is due verrry soon and I start shooting Saturday! If there is an answer to this already posted can someone point me too it please?
Thank you so much for all of your help guys

you can shoot 24p or 24pa but once you go back to tape you will have the pulldown back on so it will be 29.97 essentially 24p but if you want to make a 24p dvd id say go with 24pa

thanks for responding.
ok, so if i add the pulldown again when i export to tape - itll look like 24p at 30fps right? (still some sense of 24fps)?
