eek i'm stressin out! i was importing some footage and then suddenly the screen went blue and my importing program said something about a timecode error. then i tried rewinding and reviewing the footage and i could hear the tape turning but the tc was frozen at 1:38 and all that showed up was a blue screen. so i popped in a new tape and recorded for a few seconds, then switched to vcr and tried to review the footage and all it was was blue screen. anyone ever had this happen? is the other tape toast?
just wanted to see if anyone here could help me with this before i take it in and spend money to get something fixed!
