Help - Outside Light to be masked in FCP as night-time?
Shooting a scene with a character in bed and will be shooting with outside light coming into the scene and wanted to, in post production (Final Cut Pro). I am going to shoot with DVX100 and Letus35mm adapter or for less fuzz, just the DVX100 and want to bring down the light levels and make it seem like it's in night-time. Does anyone know the settling that it is called in Final Cut Pro? I have Final Cut Pro 3 so I'm sure if I'd have some sort of filter in it, or can anyone tell me what it's called. I've seen it done where you can shoot in day and mask it as night (wanted to do that for the shot of a man in his bed).

you should experiment with apple color if you have it.

messing with masks/gamma & the colors can do an amazing job for
shooting day for night

there are also nighttime settings in Magic Bullet Looks... (just got it, can't stop raving sorry! hahha)
