help: oly 35-100 no focus and f-stop

hello,
just got my olympus 35-100mm today and put it on the AF100 via the lumix adapter. there is no focus and no f-stop controll. the camera says invallid. with my olympus 14-35mm there is no problem. what i am doing wrong or do i need another adapter? thanks for your help.
