Help no sound

I am new to this camera.

When I record, it doesn't record sound.

I can't find anywhere to change this.

I want to use the onboard mic, I was told that someone who used the camera in the past had used an external mic. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are switches for audio underneath the flip out LCD screen. The switch for the first audio track has to be set to 'int', or whatever it says that means internal.
