I've got a bunch of .MXF files that were created by someone else using Avid. I'm trying to get them converted to .AVI files so I can edit them in Vegas or Premiere (old version).
I downloaded the 30 day trial of Avid Media Composer. I'm able to view and convert the files using AMC, but I can't seem to get any sound from them.
This is footage that was shot in SD (720x480). Sound was recorded straight to tape, and should be in these clips. Some of these show up in AMC as audio only clips, but even they don't produce any sound. I'm hoping I just have some setting not right. (I have zero experience with Avid.)
Any help?
