Help needed with EXPORT from AE CS3!

Hi Guys,

I'd be really grateful if someone could give me a hand with this one...

OK, I'm shooting DVCPRO HD, editing in Vegas 7, then exporting with Raylight BLUE... i then import my footage into AE CS3 and complete my compositing, after which i want to export to MPEG2 for the FINAL render. I've found an awesome setting to do this in AE (MPEG2 blu ray) but i can't manage to export a file with AUDIO embedded or within the same 1 file. Also when you select PAL you can't choose the progressive setting in 1080 mode!

Can anyone pls tell me how to get around the following issues?

It's so annoying as the results look amazing!!!

Just dump the audio out of Vegas as WAV/AIFF. As long as you don't change your footage length in AE, it will sync up after you encode your video out of AE.

Export your footage from AE as Uncompressed. Then use a freeware tool such as VirtualDub to get the source audio (Audio > Source Audio) muxed with the video. You can then export the video as whichever codec you like, or again dump back to uncompressed and run through another encoder like Squeeze.

This is just how I would do it, as I haven't bothered to mess with any audio when going the route of AE work. It all gets done after the fact.
