Help. Need to do a 60hz shoot for US in Aus

This is probably a dumb question but here goes. Here in Australia my AF102 is parked in 50hz all the time. Up comes an interview job to be sent to the US for editing and inclusion in an existing video.
So, I switched from 50hz to 60hz in system frequency then in rec format to 1080 24p and I get a message on the lcd 'CANNOT BE USED DUE TO INCOMPATIBLE DATA'.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your patience.
 
you have to remove any files on the card which are in a different format than the one you are trying to use, or just re-format the card if possible
 
Thankyou so much. I thought because the card (was formatted in 50hz) had no data it would be fine, so a simple reformat in 60hz mode and problem solved.
