HELP !! Need old camera flash bulb going off sound - anyone?

I got a cool crash scene with reporter - 1955 - has 1940's camera with working flash. the sound coming out of was not the big WHOOOOSH you hear in teh films, it was a simple "click".

I would like to have the dramatic sound which would work great for the scene...

So far my internet research has no yielded results - I am finding NEW camera sounds but not OLD camera.

Can anyone help?

the camera I had did fire up bulbs but it sounds like nothing "cheek" is all it did. Diddo with that sound sample from the internet (although you did better at googling than I did - I must not have typed the right words cause all i found was modern flash sounds).

I need the FAT, BIG sounding "VoooooSH" sounds you usually hear in period films when a bunch of reporters are taking photos outside a courthouse for exemple LOL...

Does anyone have it?

Sony had a free sound effects CD that they distributed a couple of years ago that had a flash sound. It was more like the old powder flash from long ago.
 
Faith, search for powder flash at Sounddogs.com - they have a few to choose from. I think thats the sound you are describing at least.
