Okay so it's 2:30 in the morning on the west coast right now. I am stareing at a project on FCP and I am dead tired. Now someone please help and tell me what I should do with the story I'm about to unfold.
Myself and a friend were commissioned by our school to put together a photo montage, interviews, and clips of our senior class. We had all year to complete this. Last week I tell our advisor that it's pretty much done and he should get the first test copy on Monday.
My half is done and ready to be mixed in with my friend's. We were doing this on our own machines at our houses. We each knew what we were suppose to do and what our roles were. 50/50...half the work for each. Friday I meet up with my friend who up until that point told me everything was going great. He tells me his scanner is broken and he didn't scan any of the pictures he had to scan. His job also included doing the class interviews. He hands me a dv tape telling me it's all on there. I ask if they are all edited and ready to go and he tells me, "No." What the crap?? I told him to get on a computer and import them into the computer...add titles...seperate them do something.
He leaves after doing this and I go to burn a data disc of the interviews when I notice he didn't add titles to some students and all-n-all it looks like crap.
Bring us to the present. I couldn't work on this project cause I had plans for this weekend...work etc. So tonight was my only free time. Here is the million dollar question for you all to help me with.
Do I.
A)
Stay up for the rest of the night and try and scan about 20 photos and then salvage the interviews so our advisor (Teacher advisor and advisor for our ASB) can get a copy on time. Which is at 7 this morning.
Or.
B)
Just burn what I have on a disc and tell the advisor this is what I did and it's up to my friend to finish. Even though I know I will break the deadline and then run the chance of my friend not even finishing it.
And in case you were wondering I was comped a 65 dollar ASB card and a free ticket to our senior brunch which is where this will be showing....heck if i had known i was pretty much on my own in doing this i would of pushed for a free prom ticket or two.
