Help: My Gh1 no longer recognizes firmware updates

Here is the situation.
I'm on a mac, im using winebottle to handle Ptools v3.40d

I successfully updated my firmware to GH1__135 but when I try to update
to GH1__136, it will not recognize it, when I hit the play mode button, it just
says, no valid picture to play. I've tried all kinds of possible variations for file names,
etc. This is my theory, and I haven't read anyone's opinion but...

I think I saved GH1__135 without checking either box (version increment or prevent version increment). So, therefore the version update GH1__135 does not have
any info on how to update itself ever again...?

What do I do? I'm surprised no one has this problem.\

Fortunately, I'm happy with the current hack, but I may never be able to update the
firmware ever again...

any opinions or help?

throw 30 in the increment value and make sure this time tick version compare patch. format your card and stick new firmware on and see how you go. make sure you have full battery too.
