GH4 Help! Metabones stuck on GH4

Well I got the GH4 yesterday and today got it out for some tests. The 3rd or 4th time i put the metabones for my Nikons it got stuck. It won't come out. It rotates a bit when i press the release but it won't budge after a certain point and it won't come out.

Any solutions? Anyone had the same problem?

Thanks

glad you figured it out but i really don't understand why people feel the need to delete once they have found a solution to a problem. sharing is caring.

Well mostly because it was not a real problem that would probably affect anyone else. It was just me being very very stupid and not paying attention, probably a side effect of being overexcited of my new toy.

What happened was I mounted the metabones on the tripod rather than the camera. When I took it off to change lenses from the Nikon to the Pany 12-35 I forgot to remove the tiny quick release plate. So when I was rotating it it was hitting the bottom of the camera therefore not allowing the metabones to fully rotate and come out. The plate is tiny and kinda flush to the metabones so it was hard to see it is even there. It took quite awhile of forcing, cursing, banging, more cursing, internet searching and pointless thread posting (on here) before I felt something moving in my fingers and I saw it. It was however a testament to the build quality of the Panasonic, it took alot of beating and it didn't even budge and everything works.

When i finally figured it out I did a shot of my 18yr Laphroaig. So yeah, good times.

About lenses colliding with plates and either not going on or off and inducing panic reactions - you are not the first to experience such matters.... :-)

About the Laphroaig - excellent decision.....
