Hi, I shot some footage on a FS700 at 240FPS,
now I need to ingest the footage, I use FCP 7,
but I need to understand how you ingest the footage or what is the best way to do it,
Can I still use the FCP 7 or do I have to use an external software to convert the footage ?
thanks for your advice and your help.

you shot 240fps CinemaDNG and did not know how to handle it in post? That was courageous!

You have to import your footage into DaVinci Resolve, color correct them and export them as ProRes file which you can import into FCP 7

If you shot internally 24 or 30 fps then the file will just be like any other file on the SD card, just import like the other files.

If this is on the Odyssey then you have to go the DaVinci route at this time. Even so it would be the same as any other series of stills converted into ProRes or whatever from the original files.
