Hi,

i would like to buy a good mic for a short film. I want to record dialogues inside and outside.

Is the Rode NTG-2 good?

Which would you recomend?

The Rode NTG-2 is perfectly fine, especially for the money.

There is no one mic that does it all, and shotguns are generally poor performers for interiors. For those, you'd want a hypercardioid condenser, such as the Oktava MK012 or the Audio Technica 4053b or the AKG CK93.
