Hi
I have been video editing for about a year now, I use adobe prem Pro and have had no problems using this software.
My previous camcorders did not give me the quality of footage I wanted, so after reading reviews I have just upgraded to the DVX100a.
I basically want to capture very good quality video on fishing trips with my son, the edit them for family videos only.
I have just returned from a fishing trip to Egypt and I thought I was getting on very well with my new camera. I took all my footage on scene file 5 and used auto. When I played the footage back on my TV the footage seemed very jagged, I then played around with the camera and took footage on scene file 1 this seemed OK when played back on the camera, but when I captured it to Adobe Prem this footage also became jagged and when burnt to DVD It does not completely fill the TV screen, there is a black edge all around the footage.
Can anyone help me , all I want is the best and simplest camera setting to use for very general footage outside, I love the feel and use of the camera and would like to get it to work for me.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Adey
