Help me find the thread of one specific lightning set-up

Well,

have tried to find a thread where, among others, one specific lighting set-up was posted.

Without success.

Scene has been set up in the attic with brick-wall background, for interviewing ~ dozen and a half of people.
In the scene, key light was pushed from the left through smaller and bigger white canvas for diffusion.
Beside the photo of that specific set-up, few photos of interview subjects were also posted.

I picture the photo of that set-up clearly in my mind's eye and could easily paint it, but can't remember in which thread was it posted, or even was it in this sub-forum.

If someone remembers it and appoint me to the right direction, I would be very grateful and really appreciate it.

Kind regards

There’s a way to search the site (or any site) via Google instead of using DVX’s search engine. I dont remember how to do it but you could Google how do it, ironically.

Yes, in Google, follow your search terms with site:dvxuser.com [example]

In your case, you should use that code on Google's Image Search [example]. EDIT: This won't work, because as pointed out later, it will only return images posted on DVXUser but hosted elsewhere, because DVXUser won't show images to non-members, and Google's crawler is not a member.

It can help typing the year. For example, the best LED panel today is much different than 2012. So, it can help to add 2016 or 2017 (or whatever year) to an "LED panel" search.

Same for the OP, the year can narrow down your results because you won't have a chance searching "interview lighting".

Thanks for trying,

I wouldn't ask for human intervention if machines could do the job.

I tried all of the above two days ago and I think that google can't refer to the pictures that are stored on dvxuser server, since login is required to show them.
Yesterday I spent few hours going through browser history, without luck.

Post in the thread that I'm looking for is definitely from 2018, maybe few month or two (or three) back.
If I remember correctly, thread is 3 pages long (max. allowed pages settings in user preferences) and the post is closer to the end of third page.

It's a perfect example of simple and elegant solution with great result.

So, it looks like I'll dive back into browser history, brute force with a lot of tabs to be opened.

Again, thanks to everyone for trying

Good news,

the hunt is over, I got a link from the author himself:

Thanks a lot Rob, I owe you one. You saved me a lot of drawing and explaining for 'assistance' that I'm getting on tomorrow night shoot.

It's nice to have community with such a selfless help. We sometimes disagree with the interpretation of the same thing, but, at the end, that selfless help and argument-ed dialog keeps us together.

Again, thanks to you Rob and all who wanted to help.
