Help me choose portable battery

Okay, I've decided to purchase the SmallHD DP1 monitor. Now, I need a battery. So here are the two candidates.

EX-L96 SWITRONIX
Tekkeon MP3450I

EX-L96 SWITRONIX:

Qty: 1
Total Price: $380 (EX-L96 SWITRONIX + vDoubler-SPL single plate DV battery to 12V adapter)
Capacity: 96Wh
Total Weight: about 1.8 pounds

Tekkeon MP3450I:
Qty: 2
Total Price: $280
Capacity: 116Wh
Total Weight: 2 pounds

However, here is what I do not understand. On BH site there are two versions with the same model MP3450I but different price and different look. However, on Adorama site, the same model (MP3450I) is only $140 versus $200 on BH. So, will someone please explain to me what is the difference between the BH and Adorama site with the same model but different picture? Is the on BH is really better since it's more expensive?

Last, how do I mount either of these two brand batteries on my rig? Any tricks and tip is much appreciated.

Okay, I just purchased two MP3450i batteries. However, I need way to mount it to my rig (15mm rods). Help is appreciated.

I've talked to Lor about helping to design a piece to mount these batteries to a set of 60mm rails. He is willing to look at some design ideas and test a proto type or two. Anyone else using these batteries on a rig?

I use Velcro to mount them to the back of the monitor, it works fine but does make the whole monitor rather heavy. If there is a way to cheaply and unobtrusively mount them on the camera or rod itself then I'd be interested.

Current proto type of the snap, works with both single and double battery packs. Right now its bolted to one of our large belly pans, the same that holds our shoulder pad. But they could easily be bolted to two thin rail pads as well, if weight was a concern.

Looks very nice. How much will it cost? How tight or sturdy are the clips on the side? Will the battery fall during a run and gun type in the field?

The proto type piece is actually really tight. Probably too tight as its ABS plastic and the actual production part is going to be nylon, a tougher material. As it sits I was winging the thing around the shop, no movement at all.

I would expect a set of snaps to run around $15.00. We will probably list them with the belly pan and also without for those that have already purchased a rig or a rail mount. The actual part will also be black. We are also looking into becoming a distributor of the battery units. If thats the case we will probably do a package deal that includes the clips and mount.

So, Steve, how about the promised to send me a set right off the mold with no charge if I am a tester? What's the setup selling for?
