Help! Looking for 4/3 adapter in Salt Lake area.

It sucks when you have a camera you can't try out. I use both Nikon and Eos lenses. It would be great if I could borrow a 4/3 adapter from someone local. Thanks!

Be aware that you'd be asking for a MICRO 4/3 adapter, not a 4/3 adapter. There is a format called Four Thirds; the GH1 uses Micro Four Thirds.

(the standards are pretty much identical, the only thing "micro" about the m4/3 format is the distance from the lens to the sensor, allowing m4/3 bodies to be much thinner and also allowing the m4/3 format to use c-mount or other short-flange-length lenses)

You can try out the camera at home without a M43 adapter by holding the lens about an inch in front of the camera, or use a 2.5-3" Black PVC pipe or spray cap, 1" wide to hold the lens away from camera. Sort of a DIY optical bench. That's what we did before getting the adapter, which took a week by mail order.

Do at your own risk, though!
