Hi!
I'm new in Vegas. I just wanted to know what I have to do to see in a TV monitor trough the camera the clips with the effects. Do I have to "Render As"? Is there an option to do it automaticaly as in Premiere? Can I see it in the TV monitor with a render in RAM or something as "alt+mouse pressed button" in Premiere?

Thank you very much!

?

Do you mean while using Vegas you want to be able to see a preview of what you are editing? On the computer?

?

Re: Help, I'm new...

There's a button on the preview window, which looks like a TV. Click it and it'll redirect all preview out the firewire.

Hi! Thanks

I know there's a TV icon on the preview menu which allows you to see clips on an external monitor. It works except with the clips which have some effects on it or has changed speed. ???

Re: Help, I'm new...

Are you getting nothing during those clips, or is it just really slow?

If it's slow, that's normal (a pain in the ass, but normal). You'll have to RAM preview or prerender those sections for a smooth playback.

You'll find options for these functions in the "Tools" drop-down menu.

Re: Help, I'm new...

You need to turn on "Recompress all frames" (or something like that) in the Options.
