GH2 HELP! i think my lilliput monitor fried the hdmi port on my gh2....

had the monitor working fine for a few hours then it would not see the camera. the monitor works on other hdmi devices but not my gh2. the gh2 hdmi wont output to anything at all. anyone have any ideas?

No ideas here to share... just my condolences.

I'd call the warranty people.

I think the same thing happened on my Canon t2i (plugged to a 32 inch TV). Picture was fine for a couple of minutes then black. I tried all the menu settings but nothing worked. My warranty expired a month ago.

Just glad it happened to the Canon t2i and not my precious Gh2.

HDMI cables can be finicky, have you tried using a different/new cable?

yeah tried other cables -still the same...i guess hdmi is gone for my unit....booo!
