Well, it looks like a stripped the philips head on the screw that holds the hand grip while trying to remove.Any ideas how to remove the screw now ?

I don't have an AF100 so I don't know how big the screw is...how big is it?

They have drill bits at the local hardware store which are designed for unscrewing stripped screws...You could also try to Dremel a larger Philips head "X" into the screw if the screw is large enough.

The other problem is the screw stays attached to the handle so you don't loose the screw.Does the extractor stay attached to the screw?

If you have a dremel you could cut a channel to fit a larger flat head, that should give you more power to loosen the screw or if you have a drill bit, tap straight into the stripped head till you have shaved off the head and then remove the handle, from there you can back out the portion of the screw that is intact and replace it.

Ed Ng has it... I do lots of car restoration, and slotting a stripped philips screw with a dremel or the like is the standard solution. If you don't already own a dremel tool, you should anyway.

The screw head is recessed way to far down to dremmel a slot in it... drill a hole in the center and then use the "easy out". It is a reverse thread bit... you will also need to use a "T" handle chuck to hold it like the ones used for tapping threads.
