Help - HVX200 weird issue

Hey,

I have a HVX200, first gen, I hadn't used it in about a month and prior to that had been shooting mostly with my firestore. Today I took my camera out to prep for an upcoming shoot on P2 cards and my camera has started acting odd. Everything functions as it should except the menu button and the camera media select button (the one to change between rec, mcr, pc etc). These two buttons appear completely dead, they don't do anything I wasn't able to see what was on my P2 card but the cable was able to detect and pull timecode from it. Is there some hard button setting I've forgotten about? Or what can I do to fix this? What could have caused these two buttons to stop working?

It might need a trip to the service center. There've been other reports of HVX's whose buttons quit working, and I think the resolution has always been that it needs servicing.
 
I live in the SFO bay area - who would you recommend I send my HVX200 for service - the menu buttons don't respond anymore - I know it's not under warranty any longer so this is out of pocket for me
 
I would also suggest to have it serviced. It could be a problem on the board that controls those functions. Not to spam the thread, but our techs work on those 200's frequently.
