I'm a lazy person.. I just want to buy a camera that I can use right away, rather than setting things and what not.
Would the SONY DCR-VX2100 be a good cam for me to get?
does the SONY DCR-VX2100 have pre-set modes and stuff?

Please help me make my mind up!!

The VX2100 is a great camcorder that is used professionally all the time. Yes, it does have many preset modes for quick shooting and what not. But, for about the same price or maybe a little more, you can get the Panasonic DVX-100a which is progressive scan and has many preset modes you would want. I would go for the DVX-100a. Or maybe HD possibly?
