Help: H4n + 2 wireless lavs + line in with 4 track mode

So I am renting a Zoom H4n (for the first time) and 2 wireless lavs (EK 100 G3) for a weeding shoot and I just wanted to make sure I understand how the 4 track mode works on the H4n.

I am assuming that I can do the following:

Run the wireless lavs into the H4n via the 2 XLR connections and record them on different tracks while at the same time running a line out from the PA's mixer into the H4n with a 3.5mm cable and record on the other 2 tracks (stereo) at the same time (over ridding the H4n's internal mic).

I pick up the gear today and will start playing with it and running tests but I thought I would run this by you wonderfully helpful people first.

Also any tips on setting up the G3's?

Thanks,

FYI, there is no line level in on the H4N. The 4-track works as a 4 track only if the unit has been upgraded to the latest version of the software. The other 2 tracks work are a stereo pair from the built in mics.

I had read that if you connect an input to the 3.5mm 'External Mic input' it over rides the internal mic. So if I pad a line out from a mixer can't I run it in there?

EDIT: Using a cable like this:

Ok so the rental place was out of H4n's so I ended up with a Zoom R16 (8 tracks with a dedicated line in). I would still like to know if the above would have worked ...

Be aware that the maximum audio resolution available on the R16 is 44.1kHz. You'll need to convert all your audio to 48kHz in post.

Yes, plugging in the stereo mini jack will over ride the built-in mics.

Thanks!

This R16 is quite the beast. I wired up my 7 year olds with the wireless lavs and ran some tests tonight and it whet well. Rented the R16 for $11 and 2 G2 lavs for $28 :)
