can anyone show me a tutorial or instructions to import fs100 footage to fcpx and export it to vimeo. sorry asking alot of questions new to this and been having alot of trouble getting my videos too look nice on the internet

What I do is just insert the SDcard in the MBP or Imac and then point to it in the import screen in FCPX (it is even better in the new 10.0.6).

The term in FCPX is "open archive". Then set FCPX to copy files to Event folder, it is up to you to decide if you need proxy media or not. I usually just import (not optimized) this keeps the files smaller and the final output can be any file at all.

If you copy the entire cards to their own appropriately named folders (always copy the entire card), then just point to them.

It works the same for media recorded on NanoFlash or similar external recorder.

I definitely recommend the FCPX .0.6v update. Just check your external video card/device drivers. In my case the BM Ultrasudio Express works great but My Matrox MX02 does not work.

I haven't used the direct export in 10.0.6 yet but in previous versions I produced much better results with customised Compressor settings for Vimeo and YT.

It looks like the Bundle export is exactly what I've been waiting for, I can bundle several compressor settings together for the various delivery platforms. Awesome update.
