guys, i got my video from prague finished and im trying to burn it to dvd. I cant. Its 23 minutes long and before my computer finishes transcoding 50% in premier pro 1.5, my computer crashes and reboots.

i need to fin da program Quick that converts AVI to DVD. Ive looked on video help, **** em, im sick of running through their site trying freeware after freeware, or even just downloading instructions without the programs... argh

please guys, i need a quick fix, im tired of looking.

Adobe Encore DVD. Download a free trial from Adobe's website.

It's very simple. Just import the AVI as an asset, then right click it in the inspector to find the encoding options. It will be transcoded when you burn the disc.

You need to register first. The trials are fully functional though.
 
not gunna have any watermarks like those other programs that were "free trials"
 
great. just downloaded 300mb of stuff and it turns out i cant run it because

"adobe encore 2.0 cannot run on this computer because your processor does not support the SSE2 instruction set."

back to square one.

I was going to suggest the encore download, it works as normal for 30 days, but seems as though you processor does not support the new version. you could try http://www.videotox.com/. Not sure what the trial does, but it is only 30$. Will convert .avi to .mpeg if that is all you need. I am assuming you have a dvd creation software you are using and just want to recode the file?
