HELP! exact match of hpx-170 + hvx200

Hi

We are shooting a dual camera interview, A cam is an HVX, B cam is the hpx.

we started shooting flat, and whitebalanced equally. But there is still a significant difference.

Is there a formula for matching these two cameras?

were shooting right now and trying to figure this out.

A cam is shooting through teleprompter, will this effect anything?

Not an ideal set-up for that situation. Those cameras definitely have distinctly different looks. Not different enough to matter if you're shooting a music video or similar project with a kinetic pace, but not great for an interview like that.

I found the short answer. Which is that there isn't a quick fix.

We ended up creating a color correction for the HVX. Something our client didn't want but was happy with in the end.
