Help! EX1 Won't Power Up

Hello! I'm sorry my first post has to a cry for help. I just got my EX1 on Wednesday and until today I've been having great fun learning how to use it.

I put the camera back in its bag last night and when I took it out today, it won't power up, either in camera mode or in media mode. The battery is 75% full and when I switch to DC power, that won't fire it up either.

PLEASE tell me there's something simple I'm overlooking. The troubleshooting section in the Sony manual offers no suggestions other than check the battery or the power supply and neither of those are the problem.

Any ideas on what could have happened simply sitting in the camera bag overnight?

Battery gets drained. True. But beyond that, I can't think of any reason except for some mechanical / electrical failure. If you bought from BHPhotovideo, they have a two-week return policy. Your next option will be to send in for a repair. I rather ship it back and get a new one.

Yeah, I picked it up at B&H so I'm okay should an exchange be necessary (which I suspect will be the case). I was just REALLY hoping there was a Magic Reset Button somewhere that wasn't well-documented but that I could find and press and restore the camera to perfect operating condition...

Oh well, so long as this isn't a widespread problem with the EX1 (and so far I haven't found any examples of others having this problem) my worst case scenario is waiting another week or so to continue playing.
