HELP! DVX not generating timecode!

Double check all prefs related to timecode. Does it display the timecode ok?
How are you checkign the tape? Consider cleaning the heads.
 
I had pressed the counter button and that's what changed it. I feel very dumb right now. Thanks for the quick response anyway.
