help!!! doesn't play.

Hey everyone,

I've been capturing tapes all day when suddenly the playback has stopped working.

The time code is not moving and the screen is black. However, the tape is rolling and how many minutes left is showing in the playback mode.

It seems to record normally. Says so at least.

Please help to tell me what it is?

Can it be just dirty head? I hope so much that it is.

Oh man.
 
Did you try using other tapes to see if it's the tape it self? Like put a fresh tape in, record, play back?
