HELP!!! Dead pixel in View finder???

Hello

I have a DVX100B camera and I just noticed there seems to be small a dust hair in my in my viewfinder BUT it DOES NOT appear on the flip out or in shot footage.

Could this be a dead pixel in the viewfinder??

I did a black balance and even cleaned the viewfinder, the lens and the LCD flip and it just affects the Viewfinder.

Will this affect future footage?

Best way to find out is to record some footage and view it.

if its just a dead pixel i wouldnt sweat it too much. i have a dead pixel on my camera and it never shows up in the footage

Doubt you'd even see a dead pixel in the EVF, you must have super eyesight!
