HELP! Color Difference in FCP and Exported Video

I'm on an iMac as well. When I said ppro, blackmagic infinity I meant move to PC as well and use cineform. On an iMac without PCIe or slots its limiting ... I've started a thread about it on RU and had great responses

I will be seriously shopping for another NLE...if Stevie boy doesn't give me some GREAT news on the 20th (QT X Pro, Blu Ray, DVDSP update, etc).

For now, I have kinda corrected the chroma/gamma shift by tinkering with brightness, contrast, and the gamma function in Compressor. Close, but not anywhere near perfect.

Best thing that could happen is USB3 for mac along with a mac driver for this LINK

The Shuttle is an incredible product. I just could never go back to PC for editing and PS.

Murch gave a talk last fall at the LAFCPUG on how he was cutting in Avid again. Of course, that happened very quietly, unlike his WELL publicized move away from Avid. There are a lot of people out there who are fed up with FCP's issues. But more than the issues, it's the total lack of response from Apple in addressing the issues that seems to be putting people off. I mean seriously, in 2010, how do you say you aren't supporting BluRay when Hollywood has standardized on it, and has invested BILLIONS in it? That's a "Pro" decision?

I know I have clients who need Blu-ray copies of the final edit.
