Help Choosing Lens For HMC 150

I had a post a couple days ago, (and sorry for reposting on pretty much the same topic) but what i think im probably going to get, ive narrowed it down to two lenses.

Either the Opteka .4x fisheye lens for the 150 or the 16x9 .45x super fisheye.

Just wondering what any suggestions are, thanks.


Also i was wondering if there was any difference in video on the 16x9 fisheye between thead mount and bayonet mount?

Sorry, can't really give any personal comparisons on the 16x9 but I did purchase and use the Opteka .4x Fisheye and honestly love it. Really no vignetting and very clear. Best $200 Fisheye around IMHO.

I can't seem to remember if there was a thread here or on skate perception that had a solid comparison of the two lenses along with stills pulled from both lenses showing side by side comparison. You may do a search for that.

Guaranteed, you will love the Opteka though!

alright thanks guys, ill try and find that thread, but from the sounds of it... about $300 less and still clear quality and no vig, i dont see why i wouldnt go with the opteka, thanks

on you opteka .4x you say theres hardly any vig, but is this without zooming in?

Optically, there is no difference.

The Threaded Adapters afford you the ability to mount the EXII 0.45X Super Fisheye onto multiple cameras with the same lens thread.

The Bayonet Mount will be an easier method to add/remove the EXII 0.45X Super Fisheye onto the camera's bayonet mount.
