Help capturing win movie maker

I'm capturing 24p footage in windows movie maker only to store the info on my hard drive I will not be editing it the reason is I'm sending it to someone else and this is my only copy. When I capture the footage it comes out really blurry! Any suggetions? Thanks

what do you mean by blurry? out of focus, jagged edges, low resolution?
