I have all the display settings on and I don't have a Battery Time Remaining (The Digits, not the actual battery icon) display. My friend's HVX has it but mine does not and no matter what we tried, we couldn't get it to show up. We even tried swapping out batteries but had no luck. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Help! Battery Remaining Time doesn't show up in my camera

There is no digit battery time display. It only shows the battery graph. No HVX or DVX has a digit display.

Maybe I am wrong but perhaps that is for the DV tape he has in the camera? That is the only time that a actual "time remaining digit" is displayed. This has got to be it.

Yeah, that has nothing to do with battery life remaining, it's tape life (or P2 recording time left). The battery never shows numbers, it shows recording time.
