hi,
yesterday i install avid xpress 5.8 on my pc ( core2dual , 2 gb ram, 160 GB HDD,G31 gigabyte motherboard) . when i open that application i am getting an error saying:

untitled.png

& then the application closes automatically. My sound card is onboard & it is working fine. Please give me some solution.

Thank you

I had the same error. Your audio card is not compatible Turn it off and it will load.
You will need a new sound card. I was advised by a member here to get an external Sound Blaster. which I did and I have it on order.
