Hello

I am media managing a project i.e offloading P2cards coming out of Panasonic HPX2700.

The Editor has asked me to convert the raw P2 cards files which will be AVC-Intra files into quicktime files so they are ready to be cut using a older avid.

I am offloading the cards using an intel based Mac.

Is there a software out there that I can use to convert these AVC-Intra files into quicktimes compatible with Avid??

Any suggestions welcome - thanks!
Cristina

I'm sure the video recordings from your hpx2700 using mxf format, there are rare software in the market support mxf files, after google, i just found adobe premiere support some p2 mxf files, and there are many posts from aunsoft studio said that the video converter for mac can convert p2 mxf to prores mov, aic mov, DNxHD mov on mac, you can have a try.

Don't convert them to QT. Avid doesn't use Quicktime. TRANSCODE them to a format the older Avid can deal with. DNxHD if it isn't that old. How old is it?
