Help/Advice for this footage

So I shot this commercial a while ago. The client loves it and for the most part I am happy. But I have a couple of problems with it.

I would really appreciate it if you guys would take a look at it and (1) give me your thoughts on the overall footage (2) help me figure out WHAT I could have done to the footage of the hands massaging to make it look a little more "filmic" or just basically look better. (was it my angle? light? focus? f-stop?)

I can't exaclty put my finger on WHAT it is about the massaging clip that I don't like, just that there is SOMEthing I'm not digging. I couldn't go back and re-shoot it and it's the one thing that's been bugging me since the shoot.

Any ideas or thoughts would be much appreciated.

Specs:
Shot on DVX100a, scene setting 5. Arri light kit 600w and 2 300ws. No chimeras. The lanterns were just 60w bulbs. Edited on FCP and posted in AE. I did the music as well.

There are a variety of things you could have done differently; but I don't know how much that would have made it 'better' sans 'subjectively'.

Honestly; I thought it looked very good given the subject matter and the time frame allowed. The only thing I can think of that would make a bigger difference would be to have a warmer approach lighting wise.

Thanks John.

I should have mentioned that I was called in to work up the ad the day the ad was SUPPOSED to air. I had one week to conceive the ad, align talent (actual employees of the client), shoot, edit and post the ad for air time.

I thought a lot about warming things up, softening the light, etc. We wanted it to NOT look like a typical massage therapy school ad - which are always very clinical and "flourescent" or "taupe" looking. So we ended up with these cool colors they have around their school.

If nothing else the thing LOOKS different. I'm just still really bugged by the massage shot.

I think the colors look very good. Maybe a tuch to warmer like john said. The only other thing is that first shot of the (I can't spell) Masiouse, There is alot of head room. If you tightened up the frame I think that might help. Other then that I think it is a really good comerical.

Is this Quicktime 7? I can't see the video, but I can hear the sound. If so please post a Quicktime 6.5 compatible file if you can.

CShelton, quicktime 7.0 is available for windows now. I thought the commercial was good seemed well thought out. I agree a tighter shot on the chick giving the massage would have helped. Nice work with A.E. Well done.
