Hello all-

Some friends and I are entering in a 24 hour film fest this upcoming weekend. We were lucky enough to acquire a DVX-100 from a friend, and we will be using it for the shoot.

I have some experience with shooting DV, but I need some advice:

What kind of settings should I pay attention to when shooting in very low light? (midnight- sunrise)

How can we take advantage of the DVX-100's professional capabilities with little to no budget and almost no additional lighting?

What kind of settings benefit the 'run & gun' kind of filming that the shoot will require?

Any additional help and tips would be greatly appreciated!

thanks for your time

Your asking some very broad questions. The look you want will determine what setting to use. Play with the settings and read Barry Green's DVX book.
