help 911 missing disk

All this means is that the drive you've used as your scratch disk has been disconnected since the last time you opened the project... or you used a different scratch disk on another recent project, which is what FCP remembers. When you've changed your capture scratch for a new project, and you go back to an old one, FCP cannot find the right folder extensions for that project (as far as capturing goes... it still sees any existing media if the drive is still conencted).

It'll cue you on startup if you accept the request to reset the scratch disk. Just point it back to the right place and all will be well. If you're past startup, you can go into your user settings and change the scratch disk there.
