a helllo to all you DVX lovers :D
i´m now reading this board since about a year... and got this great cam now since a few weeks...
i just wanted to post a few shots for all those out there who like to see some grabs... though there are already enough here ;)

this shots were done at night in frankfurt (ger) on a "nightdancedemonstration" - i wanted to see the nightcapabilities of the cam...

Interesting eventhough it looks a bit softer and a little washed out. A bit of colour correction can make a lot of difference to the shots. (I am trying to download the movie to see the shots) I like the feel in the third shot. Is the Distortion in the image is from the glass window ur shooting through? The shot would be more interesting if the window stands out a bit more from the rest of the picture.
Little extra warm tone on the nature shot is making the greens a bit dull. Is it intentional?

Don't forget to De-Interlace the grabs, you also might want to compress the video more.

I really like that water shot. And also the one with the girl walking by the diner.

I haven't been to Frankfurt proper since 1995 when I got my passport.

I keep meaning to stop in at the local TV station to ask if there are any pro shops around. I'm tired of online shopping. Takes too long, and most of the places won't ship to me because my credit card billing address is not the same as my shipping address. (And I can't use UPS or FedEx unless I want to go through the hassle of filling out the customs paperwork.)

right . . . & . . . hi Ivan, no I dont know you . . . why? do you work in the Helaba, did I guess? That would be funny! I dont live in Frankfurt, but my bro does. Finding these tapes in europe would be cool, and I always thought Frankfurt should have them somewhere!
