Hello everyone, I've been eyeing this forum for a few months now without ever really posting anything. Last month I recieved my DVX100A and I've had a blast with it. Movies are so fun to make, yet also, being an amatuer filmmaker I didn't realize really how hard it is. Everyday I go to film something, something is always bound to go wrong and you have to be ready to comprimise or improvise. I've had a movie become a complete failure and I never really finished it, I learned a lot from my mistakes though. Overall I think I'm going to continue making my movies though.
Anyway, these are a few grabs from a music video I did with my friends for a high school project. My friends created a rap group, not a serious one, but more of an inside-joke satirical one. It's all just for fun basically. By the way, they're called the "925 Boyz". 925 being our area code, lol.
Those lines showed up when I took this grab for some reason...
There's the gang "chillin" in thier hottub.
Ooooh look out, they're here!
This one turned out bad, not enough light obviously and I tried to boost the brightness and it lowered the quality.
Police cruiser...
All in all it was fun for one of my first projects. It was done pretty much in 2 days, one for filming, one for editing. No planning whatsoever, it was ridiculous lol. But it turned out alright in my opinion.
If you want to check out the vid, heres the link: click here
For some reason though, when i encoded it, these weird blurry horizontal lines showed up... I'll have to fix that.
