Hello all DVX200 users and lovers

Hi everyone, I've been away from DVXuser for a few months as I've transitioned into a new position. I'm now the Cinema Product Manager for Panasonic North America. Basically I'm in charge of all things VariCam, covering all three models (Pure, 35, and LT). I'm also responsible for the DVX200.

I will try to be a resource to all on the forum on the subject, just as I was at my previous position. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Congratulations on the new position Mitch!

...Just out of curiosity, where can I find information and samples of Varicam Pure footage on the web ?

Mitch,
Congrats on the new job. Nice to see your around again. Between you and Barry we should have Panasonic pretty well covered here.

I'm going to work to get more up and out there, but any VariCam 35 RAW footage you see is identical to VariCam Pure. The Pure is simply removing the center section of the 35, where all of the compressed video formats can be generated.

Hi Mitch, greetings from bonnie Scotland, I look forward to your input, especially around the DVX-200. Congrats on your new position too !

Mitch if you know the right buttons to push Panasonic needs a MFT 4K interchangeable Lens replacement for the AF100. It should be easy, just put the guts of a GH5 in a DVX200 body.

Hi Mitch, greetings from good old Austria! Possibly you can have a look on the discussed subjects in this threat like ROP with Android, display the WB in Kelvin, working area focus with pluged in remote,....
Great thanks for all your inputs in advance!
