Hi, this is my first post in dvxuser.

I'm an independent film producer from Sweden, and I've been working on a docu the last months, just released it a few weeks ago, we filmed it last year in Zanzibar (most of the time) with a D90 for two full months. In brief, it's a short docu about the emerging use of mobile phones in Africa.

The cameraman/producer of this production bought the D90 the day it was released, basically just before we took off to Africa. So we had no time to discover all the interesting shortcomings of this camera  I guess all of these issues have been discussed a lot here already.. anyway for us the most annoying thing we had to deal with was when it overheated. When this happens it's only possible to shoot for 30 seconds, then you have to start recording again, repeat.. quite a big issue when you film in Africa!!

For audio we used a H2 ZOOM, very nice recorder, but many segments in the movie is also from the D90 mic.

The movie is released for free online and to download, published under a Creative Commons license. It's up on Vimeo here: http://vimeo.com/4664795 and also distributed as a .ISO DVD file torrent on Mininova: http://www.mininova.org/tor/2605425 . Would love to hear any comments from you if you watch the movie, it's 42 minutes long. There's also a 6 minute trailer up if you just want to see a snapshot of the movie: http://vimeo.com/4592764

Green Bar

Here's one short clip that didn't make it to the final edit, it's a scene from a bar in Stone Town, people are really knocked out, and the light is completely feverish green. Here at least the neon flicker effect is not visible from the D90.
